9-year old: I can’t take that, it’s too heavy

12-year old: it’s not too heavy, you can take it. You’re a man, ain’t you

It was Spring Break last week and for some unknown reason, I thought it would be great to close my eyes and hand over my bank card. No, really I wouldn’t just hand over my card blindly, but I did spend quite a good amount of money taking care of vehicle maintenance and hair maintenance. And when it’s all said and done, the vehicle’s safe and my hair looks FANTABULOUS.

A Rough Week Ahead

Last week was one of those that I don’t wish on anyone. But thank the Lord, I’m doing much better and am now ready to tackle the upcoming weekend.

This weekend we are having our annual youth weekend, complete with a program and activities for the youth at church. This is the 2nd year and although I’ve done it before, I’m still a little apprehensive about it all going smoothly. I Love You, But You Make Me Sick

My adorable little nephew, whom I love dearly and can’t seem to get enough of, has come and infected everyone. Visiting for the weekend, I didn’t think the small amount of time Key was in my presence would affect me that much and his little cold be passed on. I’m happy to say that although I wouldn’t necessarily blame Key for my sickness, he did have a role in the horrible way I’m feeling presently. Today I’m just going to write about a few things that have been on my mind and have made me say, hmmm.

Here goes:

  • Why does John McCain insist that he has been tested? I may be missing something here, but when was he ever president? How can one be tested at a position that he/she has never occupied?

  • Why exactly did John McCain pick Sarah Palin?

  • Why didn’t Barack Obama pick Hillary Clinton?

  • Will Sarah Palin really donate her wardrobe to charity?

  • Will the votes from this election be counted fairly?

  • Why can’t somebody, anybody make a voting machine that REALLY works?

  • Is there really such a thing as a true Republican or a true Democrat?

  • Will the electoral college be done away with?

  • Why is Natasha nicknamed Sasha instead of Tasha?

  • Is it better to do early voting?
